Our Environmental Promise

WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE NOW?

Our Environmental Promise

When we developed Prevent we promised to do our bit to keep our work practices and products as environmentally friendly as possible, but “how can a wash down and maintenance company do that?”

We start by only using environmentally friendly wash-down products that are not only amazingly efficient but NZ MADE.

environmentally friendly products

We proudly use only environmentally friendly house wash products. All our products are ecologically sound, environmentally conscious, natural house wash cleaner, formulated to quickly penetrate, emulsify and remove light to medium soils. Our natural house wash cleaner cuts through grease, grime and dirt as well as traditional cleaners. But because it’s made from plants and minerals it leaves no harsh chemical fumes or residue. And since it’s 100% natural, it’s better for the environment too.

water use

We have developed a recycling process where and when possible we use clean recycled water. We have several partners that are also conscious of their carbon footprint and supply us with the final rinse water from their commercial fabric wash service. This water is very very clean and was used to final rinse fabrics that were also washed in complimentary eco friendly wash products for environmentally conscious hotels, motels and the hospitality industry. The water from this final rinse process is diverted and stored, we pick it up in our purpose made 2000lt wash service trailer and it’s used in our wash down service.

We're committed to the environment!

The products we use WILL NOT affect any outdoor furniture, fabrics, the neighbors clothes on the line (wind blown mist) or the plants, in fact our plant based wash products are actually broken down in the soil and used by the plants and grass as water and nutrients! The run off:? When the property we wash has particularly dirty, debri filled water, or we are washing off paint flakes and other eco-unfriendly debri we disconnect the down pipes and filter the water before allowing it to run off into the storm water system.
